  The accommodation and the food are fine. The surroundings are beautiful and the nightsky is gorgeous. I booked a manicure with Firn. She is very good and also very nice. Her English is pretty good. An excursion with Gerard is very informative in a fun and interesting way.

  Best place ever. We only stayed 3 days, which hindsight, was not enough. Top location, great staff. Food is close to the best we had in Cambodia. Recommended!!

  We had a fantastic time here, as a family of 4, in mid-December. The organization and logistical aspects of the lodge are managed in an extremely professional manner by Elliot, and the food was phenomenal! We enjoyed many of the activities organized by the lodge, and had a truly wonderful time here. Nico the dog is extremely friendly, and swimming in the river was very memorable. Highly recommended. However, since you're out in the jungle, the wi-fi signal is fairly weak. Plus, don't expect any hot water (not that you need it in the Cambodian jungle - but just don't expect it).

  Came here as a Montanan high schooler on an AYLP trip to Cambodia. The food was fantastic, the people were very kind, and I ended up learning a lot. Good lodgings (showers and flush toilets, even!).

  Rainbow Lodge was so very great because of the beauty, service, and quality of staff. Lois and Neil are running the lodge and they are very very nice. They arranged a ride when we missed our bus stop at Tatai river from Koh Kong back to the river. They chatted with us and gave us tips on traveling. Neil even gave me and my girlfriend a ride to the border of Cambodia / Thailand and they didn't even want our money! The food was amazing! Neil and Lois and the crew are great chefs and they have a great menu of fresh local food that is stunning! we really enjoyed the slower pace and peace of the area and loved that it was so secluded. we extended our trip for an extra day or two because we liked it so much. they gave us free kayak rentals so we could check out the waterfall and we felt like celebrities at the falls because the locals all wanted pics with us! i even got to hold a local baby and pose with mamarandom i know!! it felt like we were visiting family or long lost friends because in a far away place you have a couple from wales that are just so pleasant and genuine.very awesome experience and we will have to do it again soon5 stars for room, food, staff, service, view from room!!

  A perfect place to get away from the world for a few days.
  
  Rainbow Lodge is actually a collection of bungalows surrounded by jungle. You can only get there by boat, along the river.
  
  The place is lovingly run by the English owners who are striving to do the best by the guests, the environment and the locals.
  
  We spent 4 nights there and enjoyed treks through the jungle, kayaking and swimming in the river and the excellent food served in the open air bar on the warm balmy evenings.
