On the way to Siem Reap and it's of tourism sites before arrival Siem Reap.
Locally known as Spean Kampong Kdei, located in Kampong Kdei commune, Chikreng district, 60km along the national road 6 east of Siem Reap town. It’s an acid trip bridge that built in 12th century connecting from Angkor to Phnom Chisor.
Came here as a side excursion. From my experience this didn't appear to be a typical tourist attraction in that there wasn't anything else around other than the bridge itself. The bridge itself can be seen and experienced in 15 minutes. Local merchants will take photos and produce them for you to buy there and then.
Nice to see by the way to Phnom Penh. Ticket free.
Ancient Bridge. Nice view!
A great bridge with a wonderful historical, i will go back this place.
This is one of historical bridges located in Siem Reap, Cambodia which has made by stone without concrete. It still usable since ancient century.
Old brigde in Siem Reap, Cambosia
Amazing sight to see
It's an old bridge. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of what I was looking at so at the time the significance didn't really sink in.
So beautiful and amazing. The architecture is amazing. Glad to be there.
Amazing work of art make me rethink of the history of mankind
Of many oldest bridges, Kom Pong Kdei Bridge, fully erected by stone, has little damage even if it has come a long way. During Angkor period, the bridge has served as a way for military force to go through. Under the bridge, water flows on its direction. People can enjoy both sides' views. To avoid regrets, no doubt to visit there once can help you explore a lot of new things about this ancient and old bridge; the quality of which, of course, can compare to the modern bridge.
