Great place for a walk and a nice view. Several temples are spread along the crest of the mountain, not too far apart from each other. Temples are not all in the same condition, but are all beautiful. Merchants on-site if you want to buy snacks or water.

The former of old Royal Palace and it is the historic place for both local, travelers and foreigner to visit. And now that is the place that putting the bone of buddish. And there also have restaurant and kiosks for the passengers to take a break and have lunch.

Well worth the visit. One of the best views I had chance to see in Cambodia. Very good steps, well made, good size of the step and even heoght. My dad, 74, went up there (with few breaks, but still).

A bit tire to claim the mountain but enjoy the view. There are several location in the mountain line and you can take a look at each place. Not much different from one to another just as you can see in the picture. The walkway was not so good and not so clean.

Quite the hike up the stairs. Be prepared with water and sunscreen.

The view at the top is WELL worth the stairs though. All the way around the newest stupa you can see for miles and miles.

The other stupas are beautiful too. Take your time walking around them looking at all the details.

One thing to note is that there are a lot of people trying to sell offerings for Buddha. Also there are a lot of teenagers and children looking to help give you a tour for some money. You shouldn't take advantage of this as it encourages them to stay out of school. Arrange a guide ahead of time if possible.

When I visited Oudong Mountain, I wasn't sure what to expect. I had little to no background as to what was there, but was dragged along on a group trip, so I went with it.

There are a couple temples with amazing outlooks. Go at sunset for the best views. Also, in one of the temples lies what I call "the Buddha room" with 5,364 Buddhas within. It's a worthwhile site if you're in town.

Prepare for many stairs. Bring water, as it gets hot, and brace yourself for some mild exercise to the top.

Such a beautiful place. It is so peaceful and quiet with gorgeous gardens. We were blessed by the Buddhist priest with lotus blossoms. A wonderful ceremony.

Climbed the hill further up road from the main entrance at end of a parking lot/road. Made it much much easier. Fewer steps and easier grade. Then we walked along the hill, saw all the pagodas and stupas, then walked down the 500+ stairs into the main entrance. Ate some of the rice and coconut snack food prepared on the spot by local vendors who are located along the road every weekend. We had an English-speaking Cambodian guide select the snacks for us. Wonderful experience.
