  Das buddhistische Kloster namens Preah Ang Thom ist die meistverehrte Theravada-Pilgerstätte der Provinz Siem Reap. Man verehrt vor allem einen 8 m langen liegenden Buddha, der aus dem Felsen gemeißelt ist und nun durch eine Holzhalle geschützt ist. Die Felsfigur stammt aus dem 16. Jahrhundert und gilt als die größte in Kambodscha.

  Worth a visit but a bit over the place. Lot's of beggars young and old. It is worth the walk up to see the Buddha.
