Well rated but no idea why. Rustic, well lots of bugs in rooms, no doors closed properly, so eaten by mosquitos, despite the net. No cell service, and wifi very poor so no future planning opportunity. 10 km from town, so kinda stuck. View of river nice from basic restaurant, but NO birds. A/C didnt work, so they moved us to another unit, where there was no hot water to shower and it was cold. Then they turned off all water, in the middle of my ice water shower.

The real problem however, was owner was gone, and zero English skills Only teenager and kids running the place. Very frustrating, left after first night. There may be potential, but very unfinished now.

This is a magical place. It is rustic in a way that is charming and hospitable, with absolutely gorgeous views. Highly recommended.

Mekong Bird Resort is located at Streng Treang. If you go to Streang Treang do not miss that place. Private place for enjoy with family and friends. Khmer food will served you at there. Friendly staff will come to you with the nice smile and good services.

Beautiful location, tasty food, and nice bungalows. It's definitely worth a visit, and a gentle swing watching the Mekong as the birds fly by, and the boats traverse the waters.

The best ever for nature on the mekong river bank. Good good for sunset and food so so good. Kayaking is the best at flooding forest

I went there during the holiday "Khmer New Year" and it is late for the services. The view is good and the best place for relaxation with nature.

It is what it is lovely, rustic bungalows overlooking the Mekong. Reasonable food, beer laos in the bottle! Thy is great, speaks good English and can arrange plenty of activities. Lunchtime and weekends can be busy with Khmer's for lunch. Overall, recommended!

Nice, but with limited activities and excursions in the area two nights are probably enough. No pool or opportunities to go for a dip. Precarious dining platforms with no railings so not recommended for little kids.
