Maybank does not accept mastercard transactions but charges you $5 to find out - it cost me $10 before I realised - cashier said it was charge imposed by visa - con!

Here's another bank that prefers to lend money to developers and tries to discourage you from building your own house. They suggest that you buy a house built by developers instead. This way the loans made to developers will be paid back once those track-homes are sold. If you borrow from them, they will get double interest! Very smart indeed. Branch Manager Duk even gave me 10 more reasons not to build my own house! Thank you Mr. Duk!

The main head office of Maybank in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The ATM machine of this bank serve only US. dollars, for Khmer Rial is not yet available.
The parking out are often full, it's not bank customer, but they are many from the place near by. We can use underground parking that enough parking space and safety.
