We have 9 years anniversary and booked a table here last night. We very enjoyed the food. My English not understand all the menu so I asked the owner what food is good here? It very delicious. Thank you very much Less Bel Air Restaurant. We love to come back here more.

Amazing experience ! Do not hesitate to come here. Get out of Pub Street average offers and discover this paradise of tasty creations and delightful Trappist beers. Traditional dishes but also original ideas of the chef Xavier. Superbe atmosphere and service! Worth the price !!

We're having our anniversary trip in Siem Reap and finally decided to have dinner out here's after reading the positive reviews. No disappointment, we're immediately fallen in love with the food so much! All were great! The lovely couple, service and tasted foods. Highly recommended to all who is in the area. Don't miss it!!

Le Bel Air Review

The Chef Xavier and his wife Johane, who run the Belgium-French restaurant Le Bel Air, deliver a truly memorable dining experience in Siem Reap.

Le Bel Air is located off the beaten track just a 5 minute Tuk-Tuk drive away from Pub Street, in street 26 in the Wat Bo area, East of the river. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a romantic atmosphere, yet not too formal. The outside seating area is nice for the cooler nights, but lacking a bit in light for most tables. I like romantic, but I also like to see what I’m eating.

Where most upscale French-Cambodian restaurants in Siem Reap all offer very similar standard dishes, Le Bel Air surprises with very unique and delicious dishes you will not find anywhere else in Siem Reap. And the surprises keep coming due to the weekly specials, so repeat visitors will not be left wanting for more.

I frequent Le Bel Air on a weekly basis and only 2 other restaurants in Siem Reap give me a similar satisfaction. And I have tried most of the well reviewed restaurants.

The extensive choice Belgian beers attract many people, but I prefer wine, so I’m not in a position to judge.

I love the snail and sweetbread dumplings, as well as the croquettes as a starter. I haven’t tried even half of the main courses, but I love the weekend mussels with white wine, cream and garlic; the Liège meatballs, the half Cockerel and the Tasmanian rib steak. The fries are the best you will have in the Eastern Hemisphere.

The rib steak I would like to see a bit thicker, well seasoned and grilled over charcoal, but that’s just my perk.

The service is excellent and given with a personal touch, Xavier and Johane are happy to come by and have a chat.

I give this restaurant 5 stars because the food is delicious and innovative, the service great and it is only 1 of 3 restaurants in Siem Reap that I enjoy returning to on a frequent basis.

If you want to taste what happiness is, order their mussels here! Although available only on the weekends, it is worth the wait and you might want to turn the chef into your best friend after trying it! All other food here is excellent but my dreams during the weekdays are all about the mussels until its weekend again!

We stayed 5 days with a friend in Siem Reap, when we came across the Bel-Air randomly we were stunned by the beautiful space they have. We decided to enter and see what was this place as it was not really in the center of Siem Reap and the touristic areas. As soon as we entered we were welcomed by the kind staff and even the chef's wife Johane. Taking a look at the menu we were really happy to find Belgian cuisine completely revisited by the chef Xavier and of course Belgian beers. We ended up eating 3 times at the restaurant over our 5 days stay. You guys should really take a look at the Bel-Air as you'll eat great food, have awesome service and enjoy a nice evening in a quiet neighborhood.

Very nice surprise. We were looking for food after 9pm and this was the only place open near our hotel. They were open and very accommodating to get some awesome food prepared! Huge selection of beers. The dessert options were great.
