The beauty of sunset at Kep beach.
Kep City municipality is 336 square kilometres big. It's located in the South of the country and is bordering to the North, East and West with Kampot and to the South with the Gulf of Thailand. The province has not so much typical plain wet area like other provinces of Cambodia, as there are some foothills from the Elephant Mountains coming from Kampot province
Nice little beach. Too many people on weekends and public holidays. Really tough to keep the place clean. Mid April sun scorches here. Sat with my smartphone for company under the shade for a fee. Don't forget to bring money. The locals seem to love it here. My buddies went for a dip leaving me here as lookout. Pretty relaxing to just sit here and look out towards the sea and tge nearby islands. Didn't expect much. Got a bit more than that.
Nice Place, could be cleaner in some areas. Why there are no monkey safe dustbins? Why can't the locals dispose their leftover properly?
Beautiful Beach, Looks Like The French Riviera. Very few people around here, tourism is low except on the weekend than you get crowds from Phnom Penh. You can rent mats, umbrellas and get food all around.
The water of the ocean is warm and reasonable clean. At stormy days the ocean can turn into a while Beast, be aware for the danger.
Beautiful sunsetshere you can dream about living the dream.
Kep beach is only 20 minutes tuk tuk ride to the CAMBODIAN , Vietnamese border crossing ,
Kep being a sleepy seaside town , crystal clear water , rainforest ,and 35 minutes drive by tuk tuk to kampot a river town .
Both places are beautiful .
I'm an Australian guy now living in Phnom Penh Cambodia for 9 years ,I know my CAMBODIA like the Back of my by of my hand
I'm also a free tour guide of Phnom Penh Cambodia and Kep and Kampot .
Kep is a small sea-side resort that offers a variety of beach activities. Snorkelers can enjoy viewing the corals on the bottom of the shallow sea. Rabbit Island is a popular beach near Kep; conditions are rustic, however, with electricity being provided only a few hours in the evening. Most people visit the island on day trips. Kep was founded as a colonial retreat for the French elite in 1908 and the town is still full of ruined shells of old villas, destroyed in the Khmer Rouge days. Visitors can also take in panoramic ocean views at Kep National Park, visit a butterfly preserve or see how peppers are grown organically
Really nice little beach. Quiet and relaxing. Clean and fresh air and water. Really nice party if the country. I hope to return again soon 👍
Spent a good few hours on this beautiful beach. Food is available, although pretty average but there are plenty of hammocks to relax in! Plenty of locals hang out here! Nice and clean today
