This is my go-to place to get a haircut. Kate Korpi's stylists do a great job with dyes and pixie cuts, and any other styles in between. Their trainees also perform amazing cuts, but teachers always watch students as they cut hair to ensure you receive the perfect look. At ~$30 per women's cut, it's a little pricey for Phnom Penh, but the quality is that of a $100 haircut in the U.S.

This is a fantastic salon doing great work for young Khmer people.
I came here as a tourist, so I am not a regular customer. The manager responded promptly to my email (since I have no phone to make an appointment!) so I could get a cut and colour the same day.

The service was excellent and the dye job and haircut spot on. The American stylists asked me lots of questions about what I wanted, and listened to my requests. The head massage from the Khmer assistant who rinsed my colour out was so relaxing. The price was reasonable for the beautiful setting and top notch service.

While I was paying I chatted to the manager and he told me that they are actually an academy to train young Khmer people with skills so they can be employable in the future. The stylists are volunteers from overseas. This made me feel less vain about going to the hair salon! My indulgent afternoon had contributed to a great cause.
