The staff here looked completely terrified by us Westerners. No one offered to show us around so we just wandered through the pots and felt awkward. I understand they couldn't speak English but I felt like we were invading their space. Interesting to watch them create the pieces.

Buying a small handcrafted souvenir here is a nice way of supporting local artisan that lives in this lovely spot of Cambodia

I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who's interested in Cambodian local village and traditional handicraft pottery production. Located between peaceful rice field and mountain, you'll see local potters making Khmer style ceramics in this workshop. It's definitely a picturesque spot.

It only takes about 10 mins from the centre of Kampong Chhnang by motorbike or tuktuk, or about 2hrs 15 mins from Phnom Penh by car. You can have a look at pottery-making process in traditional Khmer style, wood-fired kilns, and buy their beautiful products in the small shop. I would suggest to try making your own piece using pottery wheel, which can be booked in advance.

This place is run like a social enterprise, that the income is fairly distributed among the local potters working here. Have fun and feel good!

This is one a few place that worth a visit in the province. It is located at the entrance of pottery making village and (I think) it is the most foreigner friendly shop among shops in the village since they know some English.

Basically it is a workshop so if you are lucky, you can see some of their working process but because it is days of process you will probably can see only a part of it if you are just passing by. And also there is a shop selling traditional style of Khmer pottery.

If you have enough time I would recommend to see the whole village by motocycle or tuktuk since it is a beatiful one and has a lot of places and scenes that made you want to take photo.
