The airport is located far from the city and it's a small set up. The queue to check in is particularly long, so start early. Recommend to take a cab, not a tuk-tuk.
Baggage scam! We got scammed by employees of the Angkor Cambodia Airline at this Airport. They told us, and at least 10 other groups of people on our flight, that we didn't buy checked-in baggage, even though we could present the airlines confirmation mails ("it's not in our system") and the payment. They ripped us off 5$ per Kilo otherwise we would have missed our flight. The money (Cash, no Credit card) went straight into the supervisors pocket, who also refused to tell me his name and hid his badge under his safety vest.
Nice Airport but be aware of the Stores from EMCAT (e.g. FCC Bar or Costa Coffee). They Ripp you off, with stuff, they don´t provide
A very slow and ridiculous setup for visas. Queue up in the same queue to get the last document to fill out as giving it in. So
Collecting it and then the rest of the people trying to get past the people filling in their forms.
Better than coming from PP. Great for domestic flights. Quick and easy.
Free wi-fi, but
VERY few places to sit before check-in. You either have to stand inside where it's tyere is AC or sit outside in sun, no air fans.
Very small airport, quick to go through. However, the taxi drivers outside are just a crazy ripoff, 20 usd minimum, they have problems if you want to share a ride with somebody elseat last we went for 25 usd 4 people
Efficient and comfortable! Good food and coffee options.
Very small airport, not crowded. It’s a bit far from the city center and you always need to take an expensive taxi or tuktuk. They are constructing additional building to accommodate more passengers. There’s a small snack bar where you can sit while waiting for your flight. It’s a really small airport that takes maybe just 5 minutes to check in.
The 100 steps airport. It takes 100 steps from the airport tarmac, pass immigration to the waiting taxis Not 100, could be 99.
Toilets are currently a separate building to the main termina. Just hope it doesn't rain when you need to go.
Really small international airport. No food court, no souvenir shop. But, spend less time to check in than another one.
Small Airport with everything done right
Tiny airport but quick service. There is no food court only a small cafe. The airport is clean and modern/new but definitely the smallest airport I've ever been to.
It took quite long time for immigration
Some taxi service has a monopoly here so be prepared to pay $20 to get from the airport. Driver screwed us over afterwards by getting us to a boat ticket center and misinformed us about the departure/arrival times.
Smallest airport ibe been too but means no queuing and only 3 flights a day currently.. not much in services or shops available.
