Battambang was my favorite stop in Cambodia, and places like this were the reason why. A family-run place where it's easy just to end up having a long art discussion with the owners/artists themselves. Definitely stop by!

When in Battambang you really should stop by this little gem. They sell a lot of different art by different artists living in Cambodia. The owners wife is an amazing artist herself and it’s possible to buy her beautiful paintings and prints. They also have weird postcards and comics.

Awesome coffee, and exquisite art. The artist owners have interesting info about battabang and are into weird and wonderful stuff. For those who appreciate comics, zines, and strange stuff.

This is an amazing gallery, I highly recommend a visit if your purpose to Battambang includes checking out the art scene. Battambang has historically been known for being a hub of creatives and artists back in the 60s. Things changed during the Khmer Rouge era, now it's being revived. The main artist featured in this gallery is Khchao Touch. I cannot say enough about how much I like her work. After visiting Angkor temples a couple of times and reading about the history, I saw traces of the ancient Khmer culture and Hindu elements where she drew inspirations from. But above all, her work comes from her beautiful spirit and open heart. No alcohol served here, which I applaud to! I had conversation with Touch for about half an hour, what a gentle soul, what an inspiring artist! How many artists go do the 10-day Vipassana sit? Touch is one of them. Amazing work!
