Highly recommended! It was an absolute pleasure and honour to meet and chat to Joseba at his small gallery in Battambang. His "mission" to try and help the poorest of the poor through his photography is both moving and inspiring.
The gallery is due to close in April 2020. Go visit before it does. You will not be disappointed you did!

Highly recommended!!! Must go before he moves away from Siem Reap!

It was very interesting to hear him sharing his stories and experience cycling around the world. Also, he mentioned he is planning another tour coming up real soon. His determination really is inspiring and motivating.

His photographs tell stories, from the people he captured, you can see they speak to you. It’s cool that there is also postcard side photo that you can buy, though there are many other sizes too. And he actually handwritten the location and year on the back of the photo, that’s very thoughtful.

He also let us try some of his homemade liquors. Strong liquor with interesting taste.

This small gallery in the center of Battambang focuses on the topic of human rights through its portraits. Joseba opens his doors to welcome you and tell you the stories about the people he photographs. It's part of his long journey of traveling and living with people from all over the world to capture their stories, way of life and personality. Visiting the gallery is free but 20% of any purchase will go to the Wings for the Future project, which supports children education in Cambodia. Take some time to visit, have a drink and a talk with Joseba and enjoy his work and stories.

A place of self-reflection, inspiration and awareness. Joseba is a beautiful, personable human being. Every one of his pictures has a story behind it and his stories filled my heart. He spent four years cycling in 29 countries, photographing his experiences, living with the homeless and bringing awareness to extreme poverty. As someone who is interested in photography, humanitarian projects, and trekking, this was a special place for me. As I get older, I am more interested in traveling with a purpose. I spent the morning viewing his personal gallery and planning my next adventure of purpose. I bought this picture of a little girl he had known, and he showed me a picture of her friend. He was so eager to share stories. I'm grateful today.

A most to visit place! Meeting Joseba was amazing! His story, his photography work and his kindness were out of this world!
If you are in Battambang, make sure to stop by his gallery and also purchase something. A percentage of the sale is to help kids to go to school! He have postcard for $1.5 so no excuses anyone can afford some of his art 🤗
