Only a short taxi ride across the Mekong river ferry and along the riverside to Heng Naysim. The family there is incredibly friendly and welcoming as they provide some very interesting insight into everything from raising silk worms to producing the gorgeous silk textiles on the weavers. They also have a very good selection of products for sale at reasonable prices. It is a very low key and down-to-earth operation where they treat the visitors like a guest to their house. Highly recommended quick and easy trip from PP.

Is nice place to take look with silk weaving processing where made by hands. You can shop some souvenir here with good price, good quality as much as the part to help to local women family that they effort very hard for their living.

This place is amazing! You can see the whole process from the silk worms to weaving the thread. Sim and her sister were incredibly nice and showed me around for 30 minutes before they gave me free fruit and a place to rest.

The best part is that they have hand made scarves and silk goods at extremely good prices. They're also not super pushy like most vendors in the markets.

I would strongly recommend a bike ride here (or a tuk tuk). You will certainly enjoy your time and will have the opportunity to see a family business in a rural area.
