  Super Stuff. Nice Location. Beach is very close, The Dorm on the Beachfront are a bit loud, but anyway the Dorms in the Main Building are sweet. Also the private Rooms are cosy and not so expensive.

  I still don't know who works there. Place stinks with open sewers. Beds are placed randomly over the whole place. At times, the bungalow didnt have water nor electricity. Perfect if you like to smoke.. wouldnt go back there!

  Footprints is the best place for backpackers to stay at Otres 2. They have an amazing atmosphere, nice and friendly staff, very cozy common areas, good and affordable restaurant.. plus, one of it's dorm is above the beach, wich is amazing. They also have a nice bar on the beach, you can lay on one of the beds or sit by the table and order foods from the restaurant inside to be brought to you at the beach. They can arrange tours and tickets for you as well. The entrance to their beach bar is the gathering point for tuk tuk drivers, so it's easy to get one if you need and the only ATM in the beach is within a 5 minute walk.

  We just went there several times for lunch and /or dinner. Unfortunately many dishes are not available, the staff is a bit disoriented, looks like backpacker working there in exchange of food, bottomless beer and accommodation. Actually not a bad idea but proper training would improve some service and bottomless beer ends up in no service. The food is very good if available and the beer cheap and cold. The owners are very welcoming.

  Bad food and horrible service. My friend ordered pad Thai and it was a stir fry served over a blob of vermicelli noodles. I ordered a pizza. They have a bad system where you order at the counter then they walk around offering the food to everyone. I guess someone took mine and they blamed me for it, so I never got my pizza.

  Place is very nice. 500 m away from the beach. Only minus thing is that WiFi pretty slow and no air-conditioning which is probably fine for bungalow type hostel. Also too many dogs abd cats around. At night just impossible to fall asleep as dogs are barking

  I liked: wonderful place, between sea and river, very nice and understanding staff the german guy, delicious food, mosquito net for beds.
  
  I didn't like: Brown tap water can't even shower or wash my face or teeth,, noisy cats and dogs day and night cannot sleep peacefully, pretty far from city center 4-5 dollars per person per trip by motorbike (8-10 dollars by tuk tuk).
  
  Place is good but needs more attention from owner.

  Nice place, I did not sleep in any of their rooms but I went there everyday because it had a nice vibe to it, the staff was very nice and the food was great. Really recommend the amok.
  This is a very touristy place though, it plays western music, movies and even the staff is not local (putting this on the review as some people mind it, not that I thought it was a problem)

  Loud enough at night to keep us awake at our accommodation that is quite far from footprints. Inconsiderate to other travelers. Otres 2 is supposed to be the quiet side, it's why guests stay over here. Total disregard for this.

  I love this place! It has a nice mix of cheap dorms for the backpacker and cute private rooms for the flashpacker which equals a pretty nice set up. The lobby area is open and has movies going on all day long with awesome comfy couches and beds to lounge on.
  
  Food from the restaurant is really good. And if you want to party, all you have to do is go across the street to their bar which is situated on beautiful beach front.
  
  I often go for a meal and end up staying for hours watching movies and talking with the other travelers.

  Hey everyone or anyone who reads this. My friend Marilyn and I stayed 3days and had an amazing time. We met 2 Aussies named Michel and the other i forgot, who are staff. If anyone sees this and can put us in contact with them it would be phenomenal.
