This may well be a great place for a work out.
But my one experience attempting to enjoy lunch failed.Someone quite clearly put some educated thought into the menu but neglected to train a cook because all of the items served were cold/luke warm.
The only certified CrossFit gym in Phnom Penh city.
It feel like a small community there. Very nice
STRONG COFFEE FOR STRONG PEOPLE. AWESOME CROSSFIT GYM! AWESOME PEOPLE.
I live in Kampot, but when I stop by PP I always make a visit to Amatak. They're super welcoming to drop ins and coaches are knowledgeable. You can sense a really good community they've built among members and staff--it's really great.
Cambodia's First CrossFit Gym, it is 1 of only 2 in Phnom Penh and they are the only 2 in Cambodia at the time of writing this. The facility has all the essential equipment a CrossFit Gym needs, Pull up structures, Barbells, Bumper Plates, Dumbbells, Kettlebells, Boxes, Rowers, Ropes etc. Bonus' include showers and a locker room. The best feature is the Kettlebell Cafe, which serves food, juice, and coffee all day; it even offers a meal prep service to keep you fed all week. The head coach Ben, who makes up the programing 'workouts' is excellent, besides being friendly to everyone he knows his stuff. He will make sure you get a great workout while being safe. The owner Corbett really cares about the Khmer community and has been working on building up the neighborhoods local business' in the TTP area. Make sure you check out Amatak if you come to Phnom Penh and stick around for a meal after.
Phenomenal Place! I worked out here for 3 months while traveling and learned a tremendous amount from the attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. By far the best box i've been to in SEA and the states. Brand new facility is amazing, and contrary to another review, has a great local following with Khmer coaches as well. Highly Recommended:)
A most fantastic place with a great team of coaches who take care about your needs, and teach you skills rather than just only push you to the max. Plus the coffee you get is fabulous.
Great food and gang
It was a cool little gym. The price for a drop in is rather expensive but if you're there long term it's worth it ;) Besides I always believe investing money in your training is important so I always pay whatever it costs ;)
