Fresh seafood sold on the docks. Traders there who can cook anything you bought right then and there, with tables and chairs where you can eat it. Popular with tourists.

Pretty interesting place to walk-around and experience. Lots of fresh tasty seafood to be eaten. Can get fresh cooked crab right on the pier. Just ask the ladies and they will pull the cream traps out of the water for you to choose.

The best place in town for sea food. I really like this market. Be aware for the price as it is very from store to store for the same product type. Also, keep in mind about the total weight of your sea food as it might be not 100% accurate as shown in the traders’ scale.

Amazing local experience! Fresh out of the ocean crab! 7$/kg not cooked, 10$/kg cooked. Eat it right on the peer cooked. A number of local shops. All seem to be the same price. The squid and shrimp/prawns where also great! Definitely recommend.

Overfishing is a real problem in Cambodia and as much as I love seeing the locals make a living out of catching these wonderful crustaceans it's important that they go out a little bit further and make their practice more environmentally sustainable. Sure, come here for the cultural experience but purchase your seafood somewhere else.

Always nice to come back and eat here, is a bit pricey but than again this is pure tourism. You pay for the scenery and it is a beautiful scene

Great place! Make sure you ask some local saleswoman to organize freshly cooked crab for you! Try both the pepper fried and the just boiled version as the tastes are completely different. Amazingly fresh, cheap, delicious crab! We bought some bread at a bakery beforehand and made it a perfect lunch.

Very interesting. We were lucky to visit when the market day was at its busiest. And of course we sampled the super fresh and delicious crabmeat.

Loved our visit to the crab market today.
The crab is caught at sea. Brought to show live and kept in bamboo cages in the ocean so toy can Gerry the freshness product.
We got to select fresh crab. Watch them being prepared and cooked with local pepper and flavors. We paid $10 a kilo for the prawns and then$2.50 to have them cooked. For 4 people we ate 2 kg.
Rice and drinks are purchased art the table. 2000 R for rice and $1 per drink.
There are public toilets that cost 1000 R per person.

Worth visiting. If you come early enough you will see how they bring the crabs from the boats, separate and weight them. Look also for a small stand selling delicious local sweets (muffins, waffles, ) at low prices.

Local well known fresh crab market, you can see sellers bring fresh crabs from sea and you can buy them immediately, then they can boil those crabs at place if you need to eat immediately. Most of people who like seafood, they rarely miss this market when they go to visit Kampot province and Kep province. However, you should be good at bargaining

Fresh crab, taken from the sea in front of you. The seller will take the crab from the sea, you pick, they boil it for you. Get some decent bargain, pay the price, get some chair.. And enjoy the juicy and sweet crab with the sweet and sour Cambodian style dipping.. Yummy 😀

Probably the only market in Cambodia where the fresh produce looks fresh. You can buy crab and they'll cook it right there in the wok for you. It tastes really nice. Also recommended is the squid they prepare with sweet chilly sauce, garlic, ginger, spring onion and local green peper. Delicious!

A must! I'm so happy that we came back here to try the crabs because they were amazing, and the whole thing was an experience i would not miss. It was our first time ever eating crab. They get it right from the ocean for you and put on the bbq. They also showed us how to eat them, which was super nice.
