A sad and depressing place. I highly recommend to NOT stay there. What a waste of time. One star is even too much

Chi Phat is not an easy place to get to. First you take a bus then you take a 45 minute motorcycle ride on the back of a stranger or a two hour boat ride to a small community where you check in for your stay. Their site did not have any google maps associated with it. The descriptions of the treks are not well written and have vague descriptors of the effort level required easy/medium/hard. We chose the easy 1day hike to see a waterfall and bat cave. It ended up being a 13 mile round trip hike. We only stayed at the waterfall about 20 minutes before it was off to the bat cave. I would hardly call it a cave, it was more of a large opening behind a small waterfall. Don’t get me wrong, it was pretty but there weren’t even any bats. We ate all of our meals at the community center. They were very good and had meat/vegetarian/vegan options. There is a small bar that is also open in the evenings. I feel that this place would definitely benefit from a good English speaker. We had a lot of miscommunication regarding the treks and with our guide on the trek. It would have been nice to take it a little slower than we did to take pictures and more water breaks. Overall the people were nice and we enjoyed the hike. I hope they plan on improving their program and website to make this a better experience.

I am so interesting this Chi-Path Village, because there are waterfalls, Jungle Trekking, coffin 600 years and Jar Site for visiting, all people are very friendly and nice place.
