Prasat Chau Say Tevoda was built to represent, dedicate and thank to the Fathers of the world. Chau (Chao) = Grandchild, Say (Sai)'s just a name, Tevoda (Tevda) = Angel

We visited this place on September 1 of 2017 somewhere around afternoon and witnessed an amazing sight of sun shining onto the statue of Buddha in the right part of the structure.

A small beautiful temple near Angkor Thom that is definitely worth stopping. It is nicely restored and the temple consisted of several towers on a raised tier. It is another of those less popular temple and that makes it a joy to wander and admire its beauty. It is a good way to spend half an hour and across the road is Thommanon, another small temple.

This temple is just a bit further of viceroy gate. Small temple, but quite nice to visit because there was not so many visitors to this synagogue. The form of the temple is well preserved, good to photograph.

Right across the road from Thommanon is Chau Say Tevoda. It is a similar size and has a similar design. A lot of restoration work has gone into improving Chau Say Tevoda and it’s easy to access and doesn’t take too long to see. It’s best to consider both these temples together, to understand their position in the ancient city.
