Cambodia railway station, provides only one ride Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville. There is a help desk, with all the necessary info.
It's a building with open doors easy to walk in and easy to continue to the train platform. Outside the building you can buy some refreshment and snacks, inside the train station is a big waiting room. The time schedule is posted on the walls and is provided by the officials.

It's not yet comparable with those in developed countries, but I have noticed so much improvement in both the cleanliness and customer services. It's still very slow if you are in a hurry to get to your destination. However, if you have a few friends and wish to spend time together enjoying the views along the way, it's best. I love the fact that they load our cars very nicely with very reasonable prices. It helps us to have easy transportation when we get there. Love it.

One and only railway in Phnom Penh. One of the most attractive place to visit and take a photo.

This Art Deco building was built in 1932 with the same French engineers who did the Central Market aka Psar Thom Thmey!

There are two railway lines. One runs from Phnom Penh to Poipet and the other runs from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville. Currently, they only operate one passenger line from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville (through Takeo, Kompot) on the weekend (Friday-Synday). It would take 8 hours for this line.
