Had 2 of the craft beers they serve It must have been a bad batch, (the manager even agreed) it tasted like burnt beer awful bitterness and burnt smell we didn't even drink the beer
We were not offered a replace ment and they still made us pay for the drinks.
No idea of customer service enjoy the $5

Getting tired of the local cuisine, your stomach just needs the feeling of a home cooked western meal. Look no further. Chicken Fried Steak to BLT sandwiches. Treat yourself to good food and friendly staff.

New ownership in December '16 but little change to staff. New menu in March '17 is trimmed down which should help the kitchen deliver consistently.
The $5 Fridays, Bolognese Wednesdays and board specials remain, as does the choice of Angkor or Anchor draft and the cocktails.
The food is pretty reliable, I had a great burger with the lot last week and have enjoyed roasted pork and Chicken Rabedo many times. Lasagne and spaghetti are less wonderful. Gets busy Friday sixish.

Great tasting cold Anchor on tap. Specials running most days. Tasty food. Never had a bad meal. Disappointing fruit shakes; they use syrups for added flavour and bulk them out with ice.

3 stars. My first order was incorrect, an hour later my burger came back almost mostly raw aside from the very outside. It was mush & fell apart as soon as I picked it up. I guess they were rushing because they felt bad? I would have rather waited a bit more for something edible. Normally we have a pleasant enough experience Such a bummer.

Edit: it's been a month since I last reviewed them. I tried to order again and was, somehow, even more disappointed. Clearly my food was cold leftover nuggets they tried re-bread and refry. Inside the chicken was like leather and the fist breading was like mushy slime. How could they knowingly give this to a customer? How unprofessional. Something has changed here and I don't like it, they used to be a great place. This was an old standby for the last few years, however this is my last time ordering from this restaurant.

Not nearly as good as I thought it would be. Good location on the Riverside but I was not impressed. Food is served to couples individually and so you have finished your meal while your partner just sits and stares at you. And then visa-versa! And the place was virtually empty.

Food was OK but expensive by other very similar establishments. Get better elsewhere and cheaper. Tourists tend to go in here as locals know you can do better. Advise you to look around first. Average $7+.
