I chose the basic accommodations, but I got a more genuine experience. One house has rooms with beds, the other two are shared open rooms with slat beds they set up with thin mattress pads and mosquito nets. The community dinner can be $10-15, but you get a very good multi course meal with traditional khmer music performed by skilled local children who are taught here. You can eat nearby if you need to save money. They are passionate to improve their village and it's children's education, so you are contributing to a good cause here!
