If you come to Battambang, you'll have to eat here. It is excellent for vegetarians. All recipes can be prepared vegetarian/vegan. There is also an extra section in the menu for vegetarian dishes. The vegetarian Khmer curry was fantastic. The vegetarian spring rolls were also a pleasure.
This was the best meal I ate in cambodia. The khmer curry and the spring rolls were just excellent. The Boss is a very nice canadian guy who can explain you everything about the foods. They cook fresh and even use organic ingrediens. The portions are really big, so that one meal is enough. Prices range from 3 to 5 dollars, so it is also not really more expensive than the average prices. I totally recommend you to go here.
Ps. lots of vegetarian options, what made my girlfriend very happy too.
Nice staff, excellent music and delicious food. Try the burger. Beer for fair prices
Very friendly and talkative owner. The food really tastes great and the place is nice. They even opened for us just to have breakfast early in the morning.
The owner, John, is a very friendly Canadian. He took over the restaurant 3 months ago and is still making improvements. The air conditioned dining room was under renovation when we were there but looks like it will be good when it finally opens.
John is passionate about his food. He picked up a meat grinder when we were there because he said that’s the only way to make good burgers. His mixed fruit shakes are awesome - no added sugar too! - and at happy hour, draught beers are only 75 cents. His traditional chicken curry is amazing but I still prefer the vege amok at About the World.
If that’s not enough to sway you, John also has the most comfy seats in town!
