The place is nice. The view from the balcony at the sunset is fabulous and they have happy hour at this time, so it's perfect combination ;)
The room is very simple but ok. What is NOT ok is the bathroom. It's damaged. There is no place to hang or put your stuff.. and what's the most weird thing: you have to pass through the bar to reach the bathroom. So if you want to take a shower you'll have to promenade through the bar where other guests are having drinks..

The workers are so nice. The beds in the dorm however have old uncomfortable mattresses and the fans don't blow on everyone. It gets extremely hot without circulation. Bathrooms coukd be cleaned more regularly. The price ($5) seems too high, especially with plenty of places in town that would give you your own room for that price.

Would love to give this place 5 stars as the staff were lovely, but I didn't have a good experience.
First, there were bed bugs on the top floor. The group I was travelling with booked all of the rooms on the top floor and found bed bugs in every single one. The smallest room was absolutely full of them and people staying there got covered in bites and bugs crawled into their stuff. When we told the manager, he told us to leave before we scare the other guests and just changed the sheets.
I stayed in the dorm style room on the second floor with two friends. All of our mosquito nets were ripped and full of holes, there was a giant hole in the wall from a broken AC unit (which they eventually covered up poorly), the shower in our room didn't work and the communal showers were disgusting.
If you are just here to eat, there's a great view of the Mekong River (pictured) and decent prices (75 cent beer FTW) but I would avoid staying here at all costs.

The food is really bad .Dont try ,this will make you sick the food was late and cold which makes no sense. Save your money !!!! Lucky i didnt sleep here.

Definitely one of my favorite places I stayed at in Cambodia. Amazing room, so much light, and the brick wall was awesome! Super lovely and helpful staff. I'd stay here again.

One of the best places to stay in Kratie at the moment. Good value for money rooms. The huge common balcony overlooks the Mekong and the sunsets from here are almost legendary. The owner speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable. Would totally stay again!

One of the best places to stay in Kratie. Certainly not the most fancy place you will ever stay in but the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are basic but clean. The restaurant is lovely with stunning views of the Mekong with very good food.
