This new location is cleaner and more efficient than the old one. One day pass lines seem to be shorter than the three day one (you get them at different counters). You can also use most credit cards, but not Amex.

Quick, efficient, no hassle. Takes cash or card and makes it a quick transaction so you can get straight to what's important, the temples. Head there past 5pm so you can see the sunset and then head back there the very next day so you can see the sunrise.

Very busy and no air con: just a few fans. If you don't get there first thing in the morning you can expect a long and very hot wait in the queue.

Everyone who needs a ticket must be present to have their photo taken for the photo ticket, meaning one person can't go to buy tickets for everyone in the group.

Despite having a large number of ticket booths, it's still not enough to handle the hoards.

Absolutely crazy! Its packed solid with people and there are no queue lines so people just crowd around the ticket desks.
The staff are as quick and efficient as possible but its just ridiculously busy. It is in need of a better system.

Arrive by 4:45am, yes 4:45, if you are trying to get a ticket and catch the sunrise. The lines become very long very quickly and take a bit to get through plus it's a 20 minute drive and lengthy walk in the dark to get to a good spot to take in the sunrise.

Also, you can't buy tickets for other people because they take your photo upon purchase--also make sure you're waiting in a line that denotes the amount of days you wish to visit. Ex: They won't let you but a one day pass in the three day pass line..

It's like the DMV. But no a.c. if you want to do sunrise at the temples go very early. Get there at 5am to beat the rush. 3 day passes are definitely worth the money. Do not eat the temple food!!!! You will get parasites and not be able to travel far from a toilet. Temples are amazing. Patience is a must. You will get a bit upset at times. When your trying to get the perfect shot. People will make it there goal to get in front of your shot To take there picture. This isn't really a battle anyone can win. But just remember you at your happy place. Happy travels

All very efficient. Take the bus to this place. Get in one of the many lines. Get your photo taken and get your pass which will be checked at each Temple site. No pass, no entry. And of course all the pass fees go to help restore the Temples

Fast and efficient. You gotta go anyway to get into the temples. They take credit cards which is nice. Staff spole great english. Nice assortment of not pushy peddlers selling souviners and guide books. Easy to find.

Lots of open ticket booths for purchasing your passes to Angkor Wat. The process is easy and agents are helpful. All major credit cards are accepted, and the stores also have some nice local craft at reasonable prices. The economy is dollarized so USD is accepted tender.

the ONLY place to buy tickets to visit Angkor Wat. quite new and nice, but inconvenient location and off from centre, although not too far by car or tuk tuk. plus can be very crowded with everyone racing to get tickets. opens early in the morning before sunrise, and til late afternoon. suggest to buy a day ahead near closing hours if want to see sunrise at the temples. they accept cash or credits cards too.
