Authentic Mexican/Californian food. Street style tacos and burritos. I usually go for 3 tacos carnitas and chicken tortilla soup.

Sunday lunch disappointment. No other customers. My family of six (four under eight) came in for what we hoped would be a nice family lunch. Instead we waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, half an hour in, our single appetizer was served, a meager helping of chips covered with cheese. By now the kids were starved and consumed it within 15 seconds. Another LONG wait until ONE of our entrees arrived—45 minutes in—and our eight-year-old is fighting tooth and nail to protect his food from his three sisters, who at this point have turned feral. No amount of colouring books and crayons can compete with a child’s growling stomach.
When the rest of our food arrived (55 minutes after ordering), most of it was not bad. The ranchero skillet stands out, the flavour pops and it is spicy without being obnoxious. The crepes were good, our little ones enjoyed them with cheese filling. The cheese-filled omelette was a bit too cheesy for our seven-year-old, so that might be best ordered with meat filling. Zero points to the tiny enchilada served in a thick MSG sauce.
We won’t be coming back, I shudder to think of how long we’d have to wait if there were any other customers.response / report this review -

This is a quiet chill mexican place, away from the traffic and far into a dead end alley. The burrito with pork and Khmer spices was decent, and the sweet potato side dish was excellent.

Has really improved over the past year. More than just a new name, the new mint so far is very good and anyone who didn't like the old alley cat should give the place another try.

The saddest burrito I have ever had. Ordered the black bean burrito, when it arrived it was a tortilla wrapped around rice and black beans. Nothing else. No vegetables. For $5. If you want cheese/salsa/sour cream/peppers/etc it's $1 extra each. Gauc is $2 extra (and very heavy on the coriander). Poor, grumpy service as well.

Really amazing Mexican food in Phnom Penh. I've been to a few Mexican places through SEA and this is my favourite. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.

This place used to be called The Alley Cat but has changed its name and now has a Mexican theme. It certainly seems a lot more popular than the quiet little bar it used to be. There was a live singer when I arrived and I was lucky to get one of the last available seats. The atmosphere was very good with the singer and customers interacting well. I ordered a Jalapeño Margarita and a serving of Corn Chips with Queso Dip, which I enjoyed.

Suitably named, this scruffy alley resto/bar serves up some of the best burgers and Mexican food in the city. They also make a pretty brilliant Bloody Mary
