A new pagoda, is interesting the columns structure, but is not a special place unless you really like pagodas. There are lots of new constructions in the same area, some young monks lives here close to the turtles conservation building: this is the way for them to collect a ticket.

An interesting enough modern wat. Check out the stupa behind it. I suspect it's the oldest part of the compound.

If you are a loyal follower of Buddhism or a Buddhist, you will fine this place a great place to visit. Otherwise, you will find it to be just another pagoda. Personally I think it has great architecture though mostly it's a newly renovated building which wasnt what we expected to visit. We were hopinh to see a more ruin ancient temple.

Beautiful pagoda and nice turtle conservation project. A good stop before heading to the Phdao island if you are doing the discovery mekong trail. Do not eat at the restaurant with the blue sign "restaurant" in front of the pagoda. Lovely food available and amazing views but the very self confident owner refused to serve me nothing rather than some instant noodle with very good fresh but only a little morning glory for 2 dollars!! Go next door where two lovely ladies were preparing some bbq!

An old old Buddhist monastery along the river bank of Mekong with its unique architecture of 100 columns (not really 100 but this is a nick name due to there are many columns).
