Cool hostel in the area. It is a short 15minute walk from the Karakol bus stop from Bishek (when coming from the north route) about a 20minutes walk to the center. Having the tent inside seems a bit ironic, but definitely an interesting idea to feel like your outdoors.but still warm lol. The sharing kitchen area has everything you need washrooms are clean with hot shower! Definitely a great way to start your hikes from here. Not to mention the host Eldar was very helpful! He helped my friend fix her jacket zipper and even had thread for her to fix her backpack!
Tent hostel is a very new hostel. It is very nice and spacious. The tents are very comfortable! Don’t let the idea of a tent give you the thoughts that it is not comfortable. Inside each tent has a mattress, pillows, blankets, lights and power charging. There are a lot of heaters everywhere and also the floor is warm. There is Tv cable and ps3. The kitchen is nice and new. The bathrooms are very clean and big. In the back there is a ping pong table. All is nicely decorated. The best place to stay. Recommended.
Very well located budget hotel, tents offering privacy for the price of a bed in a dorm
I came across the hostel just by passing by when I arrived to Karakol by bycycle. I was not very interested in sleeping in a tent as this is what I usually do when touring. Moreover, I hardly ever deide to sleep in dorms, but the property looked so nice, new and clean that I decided to take a look and stay for a night. I finished staying there for 4 nights! since I felt like at home. Even though you sleep in a tent, but it is very cosy, the mattress is great and people that stay there must be special cause they are not noisy and respect other people's needs.. There is a big living room with a place to cook, bathrooms are great, new and clean, wifi is working with no problem. I appreciate the owners efforts to make everybody's stay enjoyable and wish him and his family all the best not only in this business but in life in general.
We had a wonderful stay at Tent Hostel in Karakol. Eldar, the young friendly owner who built the hostel himself, ensured we made ourselves at home and that we had everything we needed. He dropped us a WhatsApp message right after we booked to say hi and to check in whether there was anything we wanted to know. His pieces of advice regarding our three day trek to Ala Kul lake were priceless. Eldar wowed us with his kindness, exceptional hospitality as well as his natural building skills. Additionally, we would most certainly recommend to stay at Tent Hostel if you feel like meeting likeminded travellers- the vibe is chilled and homey. We loved it!

Very nice hostel where you sleep in a tent inside a building. There are hot showers, real toilets, a washing machine and even a PS3. The host, Eldar, is very nice, speaks a very good English and is always ready to help you find your way in town or rent hiking equipment.
I'd recommend the hostel anytime.
Great host, super helpful, clean place and cheap, everything is modern and confortable
New hostel with a very interesting concept. Guest actually get to sleep in tents put up in a newly built indoor space. Kitchen, showers and toilets are nice and clean. There is also a common area with comfy armchairs and tv. Wifi is free and reasonably fast. Manager/Owner Eldar speaks English and is a great source of information. Highly recommended.
Очень уютное место с оригинальным интерьером
