Economical choice. Friendly staff. Convenient location. Nice breakfast.
Quite inexpensive and friendly staff. Accomodation is basic but will do the job for travellers who need a place to crash. Very handy message board to find fellow travellers willing to share cars for trips starting from Osh.
The guesthouse is situated in a good position: close to the bazar, not too far from the mountain and nearby bus and taxi station. The idea of the guesthouse is nice. It's easy to get into touch with other travellers and it feels like a backpacker hostel. The staff is helpful in english and german, there is a city map and many services (pricey though)
As we are backpackers we are used to low standard for a good price. But there were just too many things that could be better.
First of all we had mold in our room nearby the beds. Further there were around 10-15 mosquitos in our room that we had to eliminate which almost turned out to be a funny hunt for kills (the mosquito screen was broken).
The separation of the dorm by curtains from the rest of the area makes it quite noisy for everyone, not only the guys in the dorm. Having only one bathroom for up to 8 travellers is really the minimum. The bathroom is very low in standard.
Further services like luggage storage are not for free and that's against the backpackers spirit in our opinion. The tours seem to be very expensive (one was for example 100 euro, an amount we usually spent in three days (2 people))for travelling in kyrgyzstan.
All in all, good potential, still way to go.
Good organisation for travellers but not to cheap
Good loction but very small place and not clean.
Mathura
OK place. Bit expensive for what it is and offer very overpriced tours. The breakfast is pretty good though, especially the pancakes with homemade jam.
