Gulmira and her husband are the nicest people! They prepared us a delicious diner despite our late arrival in their traditional yurt which used to be the man grandad's.
They were really keen to know us and our life experiences, Gulmira speaks a bit of English but it's better if you can talk Russian as they have amazing stories to share!

A gem in Bökönbaev Gulmira is so friendly and her house is surrounded by mountains and the rooms are large and nice - comes with heater too! In oct 2016 i paid 900 som for a bed, breakfast, and dinner. She can also help to arrange a brief (~3h return) horse ride to a gorgeous vantage point where you can see issyk-kul.
