  Cold inside during winter. Also I was looking for a fresh juice. They don't carry it. But this seems to be the problem generally in Karakol. In the summer I imagine this place is much more vibrant and live.

  The worker speaks very good English easy to communicate with. We had black tea and it’s nice.

  I have been visiting this place for a while. Good coffee, good staff, and of course nice atmosphere for work. Especially their cheese cakes are wonderful.

  We had a very good cappuccino in a tea loving country. A wide offer of homemade cakes. The chocolate cake with warm chocolate sauce was delicious! We will come again.

  Very nice coffee place. The ham&cheese toast was actually the best one I ever ate. For travelers, just be aware the yogurt (with muesli) is homemade so fermented style.

  Fat Cat Karakol is the best cafe in Karakol and has the best coffee. It's also a good spot for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese, turkey ham, and mustard mayo) is really good!! They make a fantastic hot chocolate as well.

  Best pizza in town and a good range of tasty beers. Nice outside space to relax and enjoy. Not bad coffee too. Very much a western vibe, but if that's what you're after, then this is it.

  Fat Cat has the better desserts than you'd find in an artisan bakery in Paris, New York, or wherever else you'd expect to find premier baked sweets. Seriously, her cheesecake is to die for. She could charge £10/slice and I'd still buy it. Chocolate cake with creamy frosting AND berry filling (made with local berries?!?). Apple pie that makes you feel so American you can practically hear Trump's voice and see baseballs flying. French toast for breakfast with MAPLE SYRUP?!? I didn't expect to be so pampered in Karakol.
  
  One last shout out to a personal winter Fat Cat fav. Hot chocolate with homemade peppermint marshmallows.
  
  Fat Cat is super clean. Super tasty. Reasonable prices. Great beer selection. Great wifi. Great company. She usually makes something off menu for dinner too, enquire when you're there (usually fancy spins on local dishes). They do sheesha too. The owner speaks flawless English as well and is super helpful.
  
  In the several weeks I was in Karakol I visited Fat Cat almost daily. The food was a big pull. But the real reason I went there was because the owner is a great human being. She runs a socially responsible business that gives back to the community in meaningful and sustainable ways. Fat Cat is what proper development looks like because it is locally owned, operated, and has a sustainable platform. I went to Fat Cat because I knew I was supporting a good cause.

  Best coffee and wifi I found in Karakol (and all of Kyrgyzstan). Nice and broad selection of food as well, and the establishment helps local women and children in need. Additionally the staff is very friendly and fluent in English!

  Great vegetarian options! When we went they had a veggie pot pie and two vegan soups. The owner clearly knows what vegetarian and vegan mean and she makes an effort to accommodate! Highly recommended for coffee and a light meal!
