I highly recommend this company and want to say them thanks! They helped me here with all equipment and with guide I visited Ala kul lake(3 days trek) Guide and porter were so patient and knew places very well! Also I knew inside information that even big companies from Bishkek come here and organize treks with this guys and equipments. Anyway happy to remember my trek. Next year planning to come to see Enilchek valley!
This company has experienced guides and porters. They are very lelpful if you want to go the trek in Kyrgyzstan
Can't say much about the gear. We rented some sleeping bags for the yurts along the hike up to Ala Kul Lake which where clean and warm during a night close to zero.
The owner was really friendly, spoke good English and provided us with good hints regarding the hike. Can recommend

EcoTrek has low prices. But here, you get what you pay for. Rented skis here. Boots leaked. Skis were dull and needed a serious tune. They didn't have helmets sized for big Euro heads (they were all child sized). The group I was with complained about the low quality of their gear too.
There are plenty of other places in town that for about 200 som more you can get a quality kit. I'd recommend the "ski" shop next to the Duet hostel (big neon SKI sign made out of old skis).
We rented gear here to make the hike to ala-kol. They rented out synthetic sleeping bags, definitely not fit for the night temperatures at the base camp. Even though we were wearing thermal underwear we didn't got any shut eye as temperatures drop to -2°C. We were freezing. If doing the hike I recommend you bring a warm sleeping bag! They tend not to provide you with too much information. They'll recommend you take a guide. The path is quite easy to find and I found some useful gps tracks on wikiloc. We came across many hikers, none with a guide. Another thing I recommend is walking sticks. The path can become quite steep so now and then. A good place to sleep would be Geusthouse Riverside. The owner is an experienced hiker and they sold us a good map of the area + plus he has written a useful manual for the hike.
Friendly staff and very willing to help travellers
