  Very disappointed with Manager of Karakol CBT. We had booked a tour of 22 days with CBT Bishkek and we had no problems until we arrived in Karakol. The manager decided to join our group with another one without informing us beforehand, making us pay extra for a chef and a horse which were being shared by both groups. Eventually refunded us part of the money back but still disappointed.

  The "guide" for your trek is a 19yo sheperd who speaks 4 words of english and hikes 3 meters in front of you along a huge path thet could be followed by a blind person. Useless having a guide there.
  We have been hosted in a clean house but paid for a meal we never had. They need a huge improvement

  Went twice to this place to find it closed, while information provided on the front door said it was open.
