Karakol Valley is great for all visitors of Karakol, who want to spend the day in the beautiful nature and don't want to overcome high altitudes.
The valley with alpine sceneries, with dirt road and paths, is growing slowly behind Karakol and offers several kilometres of easy hiking.
The valley ends with meadow, which unites the tracks from Jeti Oguz and Ala Kul. The small camp with tents and basic services is located here.
Karakol Valley is the national park, and the entrance fee is charged at the gate or by a ranger in the park. Keep the ticket with yourself, as you may be checked by another ranger.
It's good to take the taxi from Karakol, to drive you to the upper position at the valley, and not to start the hiking from the entrance.response / report this review -
