Kakamega town has improved, it is a standard town with a few mall, a decent stadium, and a university, its new highway that has boosted its image, though it lack an international class hotel, but the town is well managed

This is the place where i went on the month of april.It was amazing experience and the people over here are also helpful and friendly.There is mainly one hotel which i like the most which is the golf hotel and it was amazing experience over there.I made many new friends and it was fun in this town.Weather is mostly ☔ rainy bcz its on top.I love this town and it was really amazing experience.😘

Depending on what are looking for- As a guest Kakamega forest is a must visit,with a bird and insect population of over 1000 spices. Rural town boast organic chicken and veggies in most restaurants. December vists have loads of cultural activities.
