The one star is for the pricing .
Wah, the prices are not for torn pockets compared to the other fish shops along the beach.

We were a bit disappointed. Hoped to get fresh fish, but they only had already pregrilled fish, like all of the cheaper restaurants on the beach. Maybe one has to come for lunch, not dinner

Known locally as Lwang’ni Beach, is one of the most visited and famous place in Kisumu. It is only a short distance from the city center hence the reason why it is a regular spot for Kisumu’s working class. Fish is in plenty but the pricing is slightly higher compared to other sites in Kisumu. The main advantage here is that there are boat rides which are fairly cheap. One thing a visitor should not be when visiting Tilapia Beach is being rigid.. Feel free to bargain for the fish and boat rides or else . . . .

Good view. Nice food. However, I don't appreciate the lack of a menu then hitting you with exorbitant prices. I was utterly shocked with the bill.

The place is amazing, the lake view is beautiful and relaxing. The other good thing is you get to choose your own fresh fish on your budget. The place is not crowded just perfect for getaway.
