  The wait to be seeved too long. There were barely any other customers and they had already ordered their food. And there were some plenty waiters around. Just standing there.
  
  For the price the milkshakes we got were bland. And didn't they have straws. What restaurant doesn't have straws for milkshakes?
  Discouraged me to purchase the food.
  
  First impressions are important.
  Definitely won't be returning.

  Incredible location and setting - lovely large open restaurant area with a great view of the forest. The food we had was ok - didn’t live up to expectations but we may have just been unlucky on our choices (chili con carne, bacon and cheese burger). Will definitely be back though for a lovely lunch experience.

  Are you looking to be surrounded by nature as you wine and dine? This is the perfect place. It is also ideal for people who have just come from a walk, bike ride or touring Karura forest. The Cafe is very restrict with its reservations, we arrived late and had to wait because they had already cancelled our reservation due to high demand, therefore strive to keep time. Their menu is unique has a mix of continental and African cuisines. This is a perfect place for couples because it is very romantic.

  Nice view of the forest. Really nice view!!! Food is delicious, varied menu to choose from. Allows pets. Did I mention the breathtaking view of the forest? Good for family. Kind staff as well.

  Great relaxed atmosphere, beautiful surroundings (in the middle of the forest). Good service, great food and drinks, even if a little on the pricey side.
  Nice place to meet people for an out of the ordinary setting, as a departure or arrival point for a walk in the forest.

  The place is good. No doubt about that. A nice walking trail, well maintained picnic spot, pets friendly, full of trees. Better don't venture into the cafe. The prices are astronomical whereas the food is horrible.
  
  If you are interested in nature and some walking, running or cycling, go there by all means. If you plan to sit in the cafe, you have been warned.

  Lovely cafe with a great activity area for young children. The perfect way to end a walk or bike ride in the forest. It can get very busy at weekends and therefore, it is advisable t book in advance.

  Very nice place with friendly waiters eager to serve. Went with my family for brunch. It was a very busy day but we were able to get a table. Its best to make a reservation before you go.

  Great restaurant. If you are a pet lover you'll be pleased as dogs allowed too. Had a big group for lunch and service and food was decent. Staff are well trained and efficient.

  The cafe is nice and convenient if you happen to be in Karura for a hike. Make sure you make reservations on the weekend though, as it often fills up quickly. The food is delicious and there are great options for kids as well. I love the atmosphere with the open air and having the children's play area out back.
