This hotel was known as a low budget hotel, seems that the owner is not even paying the staff , i kept contact with some off the employers and they all confirmed same , owner did not pay last salary and even planned to reduze the current payments due to the fact that there are less european visiters !!! I call this modern slavery,,,, verry disapointing,response / report this review -

OK, to be fair, let me start with the good. Air conditioning. The end.
The bad; the lady who received me at check in was pretty but somewhat passive. Led me to the room, opened the door and walked away while I spoke to her seeking orientation. I had to get back to the reception to seek help in finding the air con remote. The TV was oriented awkwardly from the bed and did not have a signal.
The cleaners were so loud early in the morning, pouring water into buckets and mopping loudly. The receptionist thought my feedback was funny. I was not joking. Breakfast was cold and I was there at 8am. The pool. Seriously, the pool is like domestic underground water tank dangerously located by the bar. Nope.
I am in Diani for four days and I have decided to check out of this place after a night. I am not boarding here again.
Then there is a loud church in the neighbourhood. Loud music last night were a distraction for much needed rest.response / report this review
