Amazing place to be , well manicured lawns , lots of activity for the guests like hatchery horse riding swimming nature walk and others. Service at the restaurant perfect not forgetting the rooms clean and spacious

Team Tafaria brought out their A game! Excellent facilities , rooms. Service. Very friendly team. We thoroughly enjoyed the place. The road is newly done so excellent for road trip! Highly recommended!!

I really loved the place from the reception to the activities and the food. But if you wish to go there then I'd advise you to go with your own car or hire one since it's situated in an offroad place and PSVs don't go there. Generally, it's a great and an affordable place since for the activities I and my friend we just spent a total of 5600

Thank you Tafaria I have been here for the last 3days.. Wonderful service and beautiful place to be.. The horses and chariots were a great experience not to mention the pool and outdoor Gym. Didn't get bored at all with my family.. Can come back again and again

Beautiful place, very poor service!
1. Had indicated I'm checking in at 3:00pm, I arrive at 6:00pm and the room is not ready. After one hour, we are allocated a room. When we get there, shock on us. Beds are not made. We are told to go for supper to give them time.
2. Dinner was great, but when we get back to our room at 9pm the beds are still not made! Try to bathe the children and there's no hot water! We try and call reception, but you guessed right, the phone is dead! Have to walk all the way back to reception
3. Get to the reception, different lady, same story! "Someone is on their way to sort everything out! ". A guy finally appears and fixes our beds plus rushes and comes back with our towels. So I ask the guy, "Na Maji moto? ". The guy apologises profusely
4. He goes and comes back a bit later and says that we can only get hot water in the showers by morning. So what are we to do till then?
Thought we were staying at a room in the castle, but it looks like we are in the dungeon!

The weather messed us up. We didn't get to enjoy any outdoor activities since it was ever raining and cold. We ended up playing scrabble and cut short our trip as I got serious altitude sickness. The ambience is great though and the staff are friendly. The food is fair tasting

Beautiful and awesome place. Please work on variety for buffet and have tea added coz of the cold. Rooms are too cold need heaters especially when with a young one. Also have porters to assist carry luggage and add staff to assist around the castle.I would recommend the place to stay to my friends.

Having been here a couple of weeks ago, I just had to write a review since by far it's the best place I've been! The serenity, cool ambience, uncrowded, ancient English setup and so many other features that I can't simply cover, I believe it was worth it. The ride on horse carriage was quite entertaining and would recommend one to try it. The food was excellent and service lively and lively. I'd definitely visit the lodge again.

PS: ensure you try the outdoor gym. It's fantastic!

Very few establishments have a story behind them apart from that of chasing for money. Tafaria Castle is one of those places that leave you longing to stay a bit longer. You have to visit it to appreciate its rich history although it is only five years old. The food is ok but there is a lot more to sample while here. There is an outdoor gymn, swimming pool, horse riding, archery and bicycle riding among other sports. Perfect location for team building or a couples retreat. This is a must visit location for families

So much fun activities to get involved in. Archery, swimming, horse riding, cycling and a great place to take a walk. There is also plenty of history about the place to be learned. Did I mention the that every corner of the place is picturesque as well? ☺
