A life experience Great tented experience, my "room" was awesome, right in front of the drinking pond Water in the early morning (time to find those lions!) Was a bit chilly but COME ON it's a rugged safari!
Meals were all great tasting and well cooked, the bar was nice for afternoon and evening night caps and of course nice and quiet all around.
Reccomend staying at least 2 full days or else you'll be under pressure and won't enjoy the place and the experience.

Sweet water camp was the first tented camp I had ever stayed in and loved it!! Beautiful setting, we went to breakfast the first morning and saw several animals at the water hole. What a way too start the day! I rode a camel and had a blast! We spotted zebras on our ride. The camels were adorable. Our driver for the week took us the chimp sanctuary and it was heartbreaking to hear some of the stories of the chimps before they were rescued. We also visited the rhino sanctuary where I got to meet the last male Northern White Rhino on the planet! The staff at the camp were first rate and took care of everything we could have possibly needed. I hope to return one day. Fantastic place!

Incredible resort. Right in the heart of Ol Pejeta Conservancy you become surrounded by wildlife in a safe environment. The tents are setup in such a way where they all face the watering hole where different animals come throughout the day and night to bath or sip water. The food is high class and delicious. The pool is great on hot days. Service is exceptional!

All the "Big Five" Safari animals may be seen, if you're lucky, in the surrounding national park. If you don't get lucky enough to see lions you can pay US$50 for two hours in a landrover with a couple of park rangers, who , unlike you, are allowed off the tracks in the park and almost always, as several lionesses have radio tags, drive you to within 20 metres of them. When you're not watching wildlife this is a genuine 5 star hotel. The room rate reflects that but the facilities and services are exceptional.

Stayed two nights at the Sweetwater camp and it's honestly a gem. The camp tents they've set up are exquisite, clean and neat and right outside of the watering hole which is frequented by baboons, antelope, and elephants.

Very pleasant camp, with many wild "visitors". Decent food, although not gourmet by any stretch of the imagination. Comfortable tents, with hard-built bathrooms. Friendly staff, if not always competent, but always willing.
