  I stayed at St John's Manor last night, for the first and last time. I usually stay at the Pinecone Hotel when I visit Kisumu as I approach from Kakamega but yesterday I came in via Busia, hence me choosing the hotel for ease of location. The television in my room was not working due to the broken aerial cable, wifi was not accessible in my room, there was no hot water at any point I tried to use it during my stay, and there were 2 significant holes in my mosquito net. I explained these issues to the worker on the front desk who at least apologised but didn't do anything to sort them. I suppose it's possible that all at the hotel were preoccupied by other guests as the Kenya national football team were also staying but I was left most disappointed.

  Best place to eat out, spend a night and hold meetings. Swimming pool available for both residents and walk-ins; this includes children's swimming pool. Both local and fast food available

  Its a nice place for conferences and meals. What I liked most is its powerful WIFI with an openly displayed password. Their food is also delicious. Not to forget the stylish pool.
