Please note the restaurant has moved to new premises, called Dejima: smart village. The food was absolutely fantastic, if you enjoy Ethiopian, make stop even if you only have 5 hours in Nairobi! Local joint!

It has good Ethiopian / Eritrean food. It is a cool touristy place. Really good for groups and also for people who have not had Ethiopian food before and they want to try it out for the first time.

Smart Village is pretty good. Most places I've lived, it would be a default restaurant as the food is good and the prices are right. But Habesha is 400 meters away and is dramatically better for both food and atmosphere.
