Though not in pristine condition, the Sikh Union Club still has facilities which are well maintained, such as the cricket and hockey ground, badminton courts, etc. Locals also use the grounds for their morning and evening exercise rituals.

For travelers, the club offers budget accommodation. Rooms are clean, TV with cable is provided as standard fare. The rooms aren't very well maintained, unfortunately. Sains Restaurant, however, has some of the best cuisine I've tasted in a long time. Located in the same premises, the restaurant is a must try.
