Nice place to visit. Some of the highlights of the visit include wildlife such as bullafos and elephants as well as swiming in the pools below sheldrick falls.

Great park, although we didn't see as much wildlife as we are used to in Kenya. It might have been the wrong time of the year for us to visit, the consequence of an early rainy season this year (2018), or simply the aftermath of a heavy rainfall last night
Everything was green and lush. Quite a few visitors around. Not as many as in the Mara, but many more than in the small private conservancies.
Magnificent vistas and landscapes.
The walk to the waterfall is highly recommended.response / report this review -

Located in Kwale County, this is a nice place to tour for tourists visiting the Kenyan Coast. The reserve has plenty of elephants, baboons and other wild animals. Remember to visit the Sheldon Falls too, located within the national reserve. The area can be uncomfortably hot during the dry season so dress appropriately and carry enough water to keep yourself hydrated. To conserve the ecosystem, please do not litter the area.

Awesome park, only needs some serious advertising. I love my county.
The park has quite a huge number of the Sable Antelope which is rare to find in our country. Poaching and deforestation has been a major problem though. I urge the government to do more effort in conservation of the park.response / report this review -

Hardly any animals to see. Rangers and staff of the National Park have recently claimed in Dec'17 that the numbers of animal has been declining. Our driver for the excursion claimed for the past year he has not spot any elephant at all. Paid US$ 125 per person for day excursion plus lunch. Not value for money, hence the 1 star. Lunch was ok Shimba Hill Green Resort. Wonderful staff. Beautiful view and clean and excellent amenities.

The simbas aren't exist any more as local driver told us Very expensive for 3 types of animal's that exist Every one ask for money. The only nice is the waterfall…

This is my little place of paradise. You won't see the big 5, in fact you will be lucky to see much in the way of game but it's just so quiet and tranquil.

Small reserve, good to get a taste of safari. You can see buffalo, antilope, warhogs, monkeys, etc. With some luck you might see one of the few elephants and giraffes.
Sheldrick Falls is the highlight of the trip: its a tough 2 km walk but absolutely worth it. Go for a dive under the falls.
Park can be visited with own/rental car, driving is tricky only on some roads. We got an excellent local guide on board (available at main gate) who drove us around and helped us find the game.

25 minutes from kenya's beautiful South Coast beaches. Rare Saple Antelope, Elephant and Buffalo. Pristine climate and wonderful natural forest.

The wildlife is great, starting with the large numbers of forest elephants to the sable antelope only indigenous to Shimba Hills. The climate is cool as the area is situated on highest points of the Coast area. There is also spectacular water falls.
