In the heart of Samburunot as close to the park as other lodges. Monotonous food choices. Friendly staff

Sarova is an ideal holiday destination. Situated at the bank of river Ewaso nyiro it in a serene environment. The lodge has streams of fresh water flowing in the entire compound with fish swimming everywhere. If you enjoy the sound of flowing water. This is the place to be as you walk to beautifully done walk ways. While in sarova you can enjoy a game a game drive and get to see lions, elephants, cheetahs, buffalos crocodile and many more. The lodge has a swimming pool, gym and spa. A room for meeting. The whole lodge is artistically done in an African style.

This is a real Oasis. Beautiful facilities with good service. Sits by the Ewaso Nyiro River where large crocodiles can be viewed and occasional elephants.

Its a serene environment.you live in the wild.i loved the food and hospitality. No tv in all rooms.wifi only in conference hall and dining area.there is a pool table and a bar. Alot of fiah ponds with fish and turtles. Take a walk in the early morning and watch the monkeys amd baboons. You might have the chance to see the elephants and crocodiles at the river. I did not try out the game drive but i hear its best in the morning from 5am.

Lovely lodge with wonderful staff who really take good care of their guests. However, game drives are painfully costly and how I wish the County Government didn't charge lodge residents daily park fees either. Good thing is that the elephants came to quench their thirst pretty close to the lodge and that was such a treat!

Awesome place for a weekend getaway and if you want to go off the grid old school styleno TVs, it's you and nature although there's WiFi.

This is home away from home. The best state of the art hotel in the middle of Samburu with access to a great view of the Ewaso Nyiro River, there's a swimming pool, a bar, bathtubs in the rooms, free Wifi, etc

Very pleasant lodge but the 8km road from the highway is bad. To sad the game drive in Shaba isn't good. For that reason everybody drive to Buffalo Springs / Samburu which makes the 8km bad road something to consider. But the lodge itself is beautiful with lots of running springs, wild life sightings, large rooms and rich buffet restaurant. There are power and warm water 24/7 and free wifi in the rooms

A beautifully built lodge right in the heart of an amazing game reserve. The fact that its right at the bank of Ewaso Nyiro river was the biggest draw for me. You can see crocodiles, hippos from a stone throw away, and other wild animals coming down for a drink of water. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. And I LOVED how they have created a water ecosystem that runs all around the camp with little streams and ponds. Loved it
