Tucked away in Samburu Nationa Reserve is Simba Lodge. Magestic and serene and as beautiful as it can get. Enjoy the stillness, if you're lucky- vervet monkey's will liven your relaxing time at the lounge area. Enjoy the sunset or the stunning sorroundings. Lots of birds can be seen here as well. You can go for a game drive and see all the beautiful animals and stop to enjoy a sundowner (enquire at hotel). Food was delicious and prepared fast and to a perfect taste. You have to try their fish.Peaceful getaway. I enjoyed my time here and would lobe to go back for a longer stay.

    It was a lovely stop
Marked our first stop in Kenya out of Nairobi. Beautiful rooms with beautiful African finishes. Breakfast, lunch and tea all beautiful buffets with lots of fresh choices. Although it was quite warm, We cooled down in between safaris by jumping in the pool!

On safari in Samburu, we seen Gravy Zebra, ostriches, Elephant, Giraffes, giraffe gerenooks, dik diks, gazelle, impala and Jackals. We went out and met the Samburu people, although cousins to the Maasai people, very different culture and worth while the visit to their village.

Great place for relaxation. Very beautiful, the staff have impeccable service and the game drives were also very nice. We didn't get to see lions but we so a good number of other animals.
