SambaSports Youth AgendaInspiring and influencing adolescents through sport and mentoring.SambaSports Youth Agenda is concerned about the rate at which adolescents in Kwale County, and Coast region in general, are increasingly vulnerable to drugs, various forms of abuse, and sexual exploitation. SambaSports targets the most vulnerable young people in society, and our approach aims to "Colour their World" through structured sports play and ‘life skills' learning to try and minimize the pull into juvenile bad habits such as drug abuse, juvenile crime or early sexual activity. By making the lives of young people more attractive, worth waking up for, and by offering more and better opportunities to explore themselves and others as well as other places and things then young people can have hope in a better future. Through providing platforms to help young people express themselves physically, verbally, emotionally and to develop skills, SambaSports believes it can greatly mitigate the vulnerabilities and risks adolescents and teenagers face in their daily lives. Young people can experience a positive alternative and can aim for higher and better grades in school, happiness at home and success in the community.
