Good services offered here
This hospital is full of tribalism. I went there seeking for treatment using my NHIF number. I was asked by this lady in reception area to provide my NHIF card or ID. I presented my ID to her and since the name displayed on it wasn't a kikuyu name she said my NHIF number is not upto date without even checking it. As i insisted for her to check it she responded back that i should go to kericho for treatment. "This hospital belongs to those who follow orders. Next" she said.. i had to come back with my illness after paying for my NHIF card since my employment. But all in all I'll let God take it..
Doctors are highly professional, middle age nurses 40-50 years are very professional too. But most young nurses, especially 25-30 years, are very disrespectful, possessed by the old culture of nurses of egoism and rudeness.
Being a government health institution not much is expected.but at least some services are going on.
The management should indicate the names of different department for a better service... Reason is people get confused looking for different department for example NHIF etc
The nurses and doctors are so kind unlike the obvious in many public hospitals
A government Medical facility in town
it's an honour working here
