Amazing ecofriendly place! Great tents with terraces overlooking the riverside with lots of animals very close by. The camp manager knows his stuff and if you have any questions he will know the answer or where to find it. The food and drinks are good and plenty. The homemade musli for breakfast is yum! Animals are at a plenty on game drives and walks. Also they stay updated on the lions via a collaboration with the Mara predator programme. I could go on and on, so just do it 😊

Been here for 3 nights for safaris, provided by the place and part of the package offered, besides sleeping accommodation and 3 meals per day and drinks. The safaris are mainly in the conservancy area where it is located, but also in Masai Mara national park. It is expensive but understandable. Your payment contributes for the conservation efforts (support the local owners of the land so that they don't claim it for agriculture or pasture), it's quite exclusive (there is a limit to the number of people doing safaris in the conservancy area (not the same in the national parks), the safaris, in open cars and limited to 6 people maximum (sometimes only you), can go off road to be closer to the animals, the guides, recruited from local people and properly trained, are excellent All that explains the cost. But, if you can afford it, it's worth it. The accommodation, in luxury tents, is excellent. The food is quite reasonable (not haut cuisine, not traditional typical, more international, but good). The service and the staff are excellent. They talk with you and one can learn a lot about the people from the region, through those conversations. All of the above are standard in all Porini camps in all Gamewatchers conservancies. Some Porini camps are inside National parks and they follow the off road limitation that everyone has to follow and the people limits do not apply, of course.

Wonderful setting, lots of comforts delivered incredibly in the tented environment. Set in balance with nature. Zebra came grazing near our tent. Lots of animals came to the river to drink. Highly recommended.
