Pretty crowded with trekkers in February. The cots and mattresses leave much to be desired. From experience, bringing a tent and using the campgrounds would be a far better experience.

The dopest lodge on the mountain. Not as cold as the ones higher up the mountain, this lodge has a solid toilet and a gorgeous outcropping for checking out a sweet sunset and watching the rain fall on Nanyuki.

Very basic hut without electricity or shower. Only four toilets for the whole camp (sleeps up to 80 people) You have to bring your own sleeping bag.
